I find it crazy that people are spending $100+ on their portable speaker systems. Here are my favorite Portable speakers of 2012-2013:

#1: X-Mini II Capsule Speaker

  • You can change the volume on the speaker itself

The sound that this little machine outputs is massive which is incredible for it’s size. Hooking it up to my phone or laptop was easy which you can even do without even reading the instructions.

The X-Mini II Capsule Speaker also has this plug called the “Buddy Jack” in which you can connect it to as many other X-Mini II Capsule Speaker devices as you want. For example, let’s say both you and your friend has the X-Mini II Capsule Speaker. Well with the buddy jack system, you can connect the two speakers together to a single music source making the sound even better.

X-Mini II comes with rechargeable batteries and charger so you won’t need to waste money on batteries. Each recharge should last for 12 hours of playing time. There are LED indicators that will tell you when you will need a recharge.

Why Did The X-Mini II Win?

I really like the size, design and the quality of the sound coming from the X-Mini II. When it comes to the sound alone, the X-Mini II wins. The price of the three portable speakers listed were in the same price range and were affordable so I didn’t rate them by price. All of them are winners in my book, but I prefer the X-Mini II Capsule Speaker.

Why Portable Speakers?

We all know the built-in speakers from our phone, laptop or MP3 player sucks so for about $20, you can fix this problem. With a small portable speaker which you can bring it anywhere with you such as a friends house or a road trip. The sound output for these devices are amazing and you won’t regret getting one.

This review is backwords. I am sitting with both the mini and the ZX100 and I can say the ZX100 is clearly louder.
